Hosting and technical data
The site is hosted by Netlify. Like most hosting providers, Netlify may process technical information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, and diagnostic or security logs. See Netlify’s privacy policy for details.
Contact form
If you use the form on the About page, the information you submit—such as your name, email address, and message—is processed so I can read and reply to your request. The form is handled through Netlify Forms. Do not include sensitive personal information in your message.
I keep messages only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain relevant correspondence, or meet legal obligations. I do not sell contact details.
Comments
Article comments are provided by Disqus. Loading or using the comment section may allow Disqus to process identifiers, cookies, device information, and activity according to the Disqus privacy policy. You do not need to use Disqus to read the articles.
Advertising and Google services
The site may use Google AdSense to display advertising. If advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to serve, measure, and personalize ads where legally permitted. Articles may link to or embed content from third-party services, including YouTube, Wikimedia Commons, Instagram, LinkedIn, and travel or transport providers. Those services have their own privacy policies and may receive technical data when you visit them or load their content.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, use the contact form on the About page. I may need enough information to verify and answer the request.
